NFL Divisional Playoff Review & NFC/AFC Championship Preview

An amazing weekend of competitive Divisional Playoff football has cemented the final four teams left in the race to Houston. Matty Ice dissected the “Legion of Boom” at home, as the Falcons rolled past Seattle 36-20 and assured that the road to Super Bowl LI will have to go through Atlanta. The Green Bay Packers led by the Hail-Mary King, Aaron Rodgers, beat the Dallas Cowboys in true Discount Double Check fashion, with a last second heave across the field that would set up a game-winning Mason Crosby FG. Matt Ryan will face his only competition for the MVP award, Aaron Rodgers, in the NFC Championship Game, which could end up being the deciding factor in who wins the most valuable player award. The Pittsburgh Steelers secured their spot in the AFC Championship Game with a hard fought victory against the Kansas City Chiefs 18-16. The Steelers will be traveling to Gillette Stadium on Sunday, to face Tom Brady and the #1 seed New England Patriots, who, after a shaky start last weekend, took care of the Houston Texans in Foxborough, 34-16. We detail in-depth the positives/negatives for each Division matchup, as well as conclude with our Straight Cash Homie segment, where we give our predictions and ‘smart bets’ for the upcoming Conference Championship Games.
