The Golden State Warriors continued their historic playoff run with conviction in the NBA Finals, as they took care of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 5 games to regain the crown of NBA Champions. The Warriors controlled the series with ease through the first three games, but a record-setting performance in-game 4 by the Cavaliers sent the fight back to Oakland. Game 5 was a true depiction of the Warriors unselfishness as well as the coined phrase, Strength in Numbers, with efficient production coming from every bench player. Kevin Durant took control of the Finals from the start and never let up, and is officially now an NBA Champion and a true Finals MVP. The front office of the organization has cemented the foundation for the Warriors to contend for a championship every season, and without them, this wouldn’t be the BAYSGOLDENDAYS!
